Search Engine Genie has written a very usefull article on checking backlinks in Yahoo, MSN, and Google. It provides a nice workaround to Googles broken link: command.

GoogleGuy an engineer at Google shows over at Search Engine Watch what can happen when you link to sites that are considered “bad neighborhoods.”
Blair the ower of www.quitsmokingsupport.com gave some links to a couple of spammy sites.  He woke up one morning with a penalty on his site, his PR dropped from PR6 to a PR4 and his cherished first page Rankings on Google all gone.  It cost him 30% of his traffic.

I have posted this link before but with Google always increasing penalizations for duplicate content, I figured it was a good time to post it again.  This is a great tool for checking pages on your site to see if they are too similar.

Google has a new service named: Google Suggest.

When typing in a keyword it shows a drop down menu with words that are related to what you are typing in.

This is really really really great!!!

I´m impressed by the quality of the suggestions that are given. They are right on topic and seem to be ordered in a way that can be very helpful from an SEO point of view.
