Nothing seems to have turned the SEO world around as much as blogs.  This is because blogs initially started as personal journals.  Now however websites are beginning to realize their value in building an online reputation and helping promote a website.

Google just announced that they are launching Google Web Analytics tonight.  Thats great news for a lot of people.

If you didnt know, Google bought Urchin a while back.  For the last few months they have been offering Urchin analytics for $199 per month.  We have been using it for about 6 months ourselves and love it.

Now it’s FREE!

Google has decided to make Urchin free to all their users as well as change the name to Google Analytics.

I feel sorry for all of the Web analytic companies out there, this is very bad news for them.
