Hey guys,

Textlinkbrokers.com, and our sister companies, are expanding at an ever increasing rate.  We are looking for PHP programmers and companies to partner with, in order to take our company to the next level.  We need the best, and more importantly we need people who are motivated.

We have several projects currently live and several more exciting projects on the way.  As with most companies we struggle to find enough programmers to keep up with our demands.

We want to partner with a company that is motivated to be part of our exciting industry.

If you know of a company, or an individual, that may be interested we would love to hear about them.  We will pay $1000 to anyone who introduces us to someone we end up working with.

BTW, we are also looking for experienced Link Building Project Managers and will pay a referral fee for that as well.

If you are interested or know someone who is please email details to Jarrod at Textlinkbrokers.com

Thanks!

Hello Everyone,

It’s been a while since I’ve made a post on the TLB blog. One of the reasons why is that I have been busy launching our new service SponsoredReviews.com.

We officially launched last week and the response has been awesome.  We now have hundreds of bloggers signed up and the first advertisers are giving it rave reviews.

If you are not familiar with what a Sponsored Review is, let me give you a breakdown.  A Sponsored Review is when you pay a blogger to write a review about your website/product/service.  The blogger posts that review on their blog.  As part of the review the blogger links back to your site.

There are a lot of reasons why Sponsored Reviews are great for links:

Embedded Links in Relevant Content- If you have been building links for a while you know the value of links that are embedded in relevant content.  They are the kind of links the search engines love to see.  All of your reviews will be unique and non-duplicate, which means every one of them will count towards your link popularity..

Multi-Tiered Linking- One of the things about these reviews is that they are located on blogs.  Blogs are unique in that blog posts often get linked to by other bloggers. What this means is that not only will you get links from the blogger you paid to review you, but you will also get links to that post from other bloggers. There is nothing better then having links on a page that are getting linked to from other pages.

Authoritative & Relevant - With our system you are able to focus on relevant blogs within your industry.  A high quality review written on a high quality relevant site, that links to you, is extremely powerful for search engine rankings.

Permanent & Affordable - Links from reviews are permanently archived and are a great value considering they start at $5.

With all that being said, reviews are not just about link building.  I am focusing on the link building aspect since this is a link building blog, but the truth is that reviews are just as powerful for direct traffic and buzz building.  A couple well timed reviews may be all you need to launch your new website or product.  Hell, you could purchase 100’s of reviews and completely saturate the blogosphere.

Well another couple weeks have passed so it is now time to again review the discussions
and articles relating to the link building world.

With SES London happening this week it has been a little quiet, but that hasn’t stopped many more authors weighing in the topic of link building.

Howdy folks,

We are looking to hire a few more link ninjas (term popularized by our friend Jim Boykin) to help locate and close link deals for our clients.

We prefer to hire in-house but with demand being what it is we are willing to work with skilled professionals remotely.

The basic requirements of the job are to hunt down and negotiate link placements.  If you think you have the eye for what a good link is, and are organized and self motivated, we are interested in hearing from you.

Please email me at jarrod (a)(t) textlinkbrokers.com with the subject “Link Ninja Position”

Textlinkbrokers is looking for a partner to help administrate and monetize one of our projects that we started a while back.

MarketingMule.com is a review site for Internet Marketing Tools and Software.  We have spent hundreds of hours over the past year and a half building it up.  It is already receiving some good traffic from its SE rankings.

We are too busy these days to continue working on the project so we are looking for a Project Manager who is interested in taking it over and continuing to build it out.

There still needs to be some design and monetization work done along with some general administration.  For the right person we would consider a profit share along with a salary.

Please contact me directly at jarrod@textlinkbrokers.com if you are interested.

Its always nice to get some news coverage.  Textlinkbrokers.com was mentioned in an article by Leslie Walker of The Washington Post.  The article was titled “How to Juice Up a Site’s Rank” and talks about the benefits of linking for SEO.

Unfortunatly you need to login (free account) to read the article.  Heres the link

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/04/26/AR2006042602441.html?sub=new

Heres some Excerps

....

One such firm is TextLinkBrokers.com, which started in Phoenix three years ago by brokering paid links between sites with high Google ranks to those with low Google ranks. But Google’s changing formulas have made it harder to boost a site’s ranking just through paid links, said Jarrod Hunt, chief executive of the 60-person firm.

“Editorial links are more valuable now than the paid ones,” he added.

Hunt said his firm still brokers text links for sale from thousands of independent Web sites, but it also develops original editorial content to help get links Google might consider to be of higher quality. Often the articles are given away or sold to sites in a program he calls “hosted marketing pages,” basically online advertorials with embedded links.

BTW, Quoting someone in your articles is a great way to encourage them to link to you, especially if they own an active blog.  People are always happy to link to articles that mention them.  Can anyone say LINK BAIT :)

Hello fellow webmasters, link builders, and Search Engine Marketers.

I have been speaking to one of my partners, Troy Ireland, about offering a couple of free 1 hour website evaluations to some of our customers.  Troy and I occasionally conference in with some of our larger customers in order to provide training.  We love doing it as it is both educational for the customer and a great time for him and I, as we both get a kick out of talking about anything related to marketing.

We have been talking about doing a weekly, or monthly webcast where we take one of our customers and spend 30 minutes to an hour speaking with them about their online marketing strategies.  We would then offer a recording of that conference call to everyone on our site for free.  I am posting this on our blog to try and find a couple of good candidates and to guage interest.

I havent said too much about Troy on our site yet, but a brief introduction here would be good. Without sounding too wish-washy, I can honestly say that Troy is one of the most brilliant businessmen I have ever met.  He is especially savvy about all things ‘internet’.  He is one of the few people I have met that can speak for hours about Internet Marketing without missing a beat.

Before we merged our companies about 6 months ago he had quite the run as an entrepeneur.  He is a very well known SEO in the WSI network, which for those of you who dont know, is the largest Webmaster Franchise Company in the world with thousands of franchises in something like 40 countries. Because of some of his acheivements he was named the 2003 Businessman of the Year by the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Small Business Advisory Council, and that is just one of his notable acheivements.  Heres an article about him http://www.franchising.com/wsi/wsipr1.shtml He also has an MBA in International Business.

For those of you who dont know me, I picked up most of my knowledge of web marketing and development through several businesses I have successfully ran online of over the past 9 years or so.  Textlinkbrokers being one of my biggest successes and one of my greatest teachers. Through all of the wonderful companies I have worked with over the years, through TLB, I have learned a ton about what it takes to be successful online.  My companies have grown right along side those of my customers, and it has been a wonderful experience.

Anyways, Its very educational to say the least, to get the two of us on the phone together.

If any of you would be interested in having us work with you as part of one of our webcast, please let me know via email (jarrod@textlinkbrokers.com) or through this blog. Please give me as much information as you can about your online business. The perfect candidate would be someone who has a solid online business model, but just doesnt have the years of experience necessary to build a conprehensive online marketing strategy. We will not try and sell you on using our services, but instead will try and explain to you what it is that you need.  Many of the strategies we will talk about correspond with services we offer, but selling our services is not the main focus of this call, it is to educate our customers and website visitors on how to be successful.  It is the least we can do for all of the great things that our customers have done for us over the years, plus like I said before, it is just fun to do.

Choa!

Hello Everyone.  I figured it would be a good idea to start a thread that introduces the Textlinkbrokers.com staff.  It’s always nice to put faces with the people that you work with on a regular basis.  I don’t want to embarrass anyone too much so I will leave names off for now. I myself am sitting on the floor in the center. This will probably come as a shock to those who had pre-conceived notions that I was much older then 28 years.

The following picture was taken at the Phoenix Corporate Office of Textlinkbrokers, which is a division of 360 Enterprises, Inc. 20 of the 38 employees that currently work for 360 are housed in Phoenix.  The day this picture was taken it was 115 degrees, with no relief in site, thus the reason we are all in shorts and t-shirts.  Probably one of the reasons Phoenix is one of the fastest growing hubs of computer nerds in the country; It’s simply way to hot to do anything besides sit on a computer all day.

I know some of you were expecting a bunch of old geezers in suits.  Contrary to popular belief most of us are in our mid to late 20’s except for a few ranging between 30 and 70.  Not bad for a company that has over 4000 clients worldwide, including 2 top ten Internet retailers and several fortune 500’s.

We Look forward to the next few years.  You can look for all sorts of new innovative products, services, and acquisitions from 360 Enterprises, Inc.
