Oct 16th Backlinks Aimlessly & Ineptly Moved Around Again.
Email This ArticleWell so much for my Oct 29th prediction. Anyway, Google backlink numbers have “aimlessly and ineptly moved around again” as Steveb put it over over at WebmasterWorld. There was a Oct 16th “Backlink Update” and on the 18th it was reported the update was rolled back. To put it mildly Google’s link: command has not been reporting the correct numbers since July and even earlier.
